In the footsteps of Rutka Laskier - Polish Ann Frank from Będzin Private Tour

One hour drive away from Krakow there is a very special town named Będzin. Before WWII the town was known as local Jerusalem thanks to its large Jewish population. Today Będzin is famous for the history of Rutka Laskier – Polish Ann Frank.

Rutka was 14 years old when she was murdered in Auschwitz. In the months before her death Rutka lived in the ghetto of Będzin where she kept a notebook describing her emotions, thoughts and ghetto everyday life. Rutka's diary was entrusted to her Polish friend Stanisława Sapińska and thanks to her revealed to the world.

Discover with us Rutka's trail. Take this unique tour accompanied with the reading of the fragments of her diary introducing us to her story and the reality of ghetto life.
